At the end of term one, the 6th grade students will be responsible for having learned the following assignments.

All scales are one octave:

• Saxophones: G Major, D Major and F Major Scales
• Clarinets: C Major, G Major, and Bb Major Scales
• Trumpets: C Major, G Major and Bb Major Scales
• Flutes: Bb Major, Eb Major and F Major Scales
• Trombones: Bb Major, C Major, and F Major Scales
• Percussion: Scale Warm Ups 1-4
• Band Basics measures 21-25
• Embouchure Drills
• Good Tone Quality

Student will also be evaluated in these areas:

• Attendance
• Having their instrument
• Effort and Attitude
• Attendance at the Seaside Festival Parade
